Finally completed knitting cutie’s blanket…will post some pictures of it after washing it…

Next is to finish up the sweater…I’m already 95% done…hope to complete it by mid July…I know…no one takes such a long time to knit sweater…especially toddler size…but I dun have tat much time per day…so I’m really taking it slowly…one stitch at a time…

Husband got me a set of Interchangeable Knitting Needles…thanks dear…I love it…(maybe I’ll use them to knit u a cover for ur portable hard disk)…

Ahhhh…!! I’ve made a terrible mistake in knitting Sweetie’s cardigan – the length for both left & right front does not match the back…& I already cast off for both sides already…*faint*…so now I’ve to ‘undo’ the cast off & add some more rows to make them balance…! Goodness…how did tis happen…?!

I’m looking for a knitting bag…well…I have quite a few ‘tote’ bag & they can be used as a knitting bag (which is wat I’m currently doing)…but I came across some bags specially made for knitters…& I tot to myself…should I get one of them? Below are some of the bags I saw…tell me wat u think…should I get one…?

I’m doing real well with Sweetie’s cardigan…completed the back + left side…now I’m on to the right side…after which I just need to finish the 2 sleeves & I’ll be done…looking forward to it…!

Managed to complete the back of Sweetie’s cardigan…haha…so happy…

Well…also making some progress on Baby #2’s blanket…feel so good…! Yea…! 

  Will be knitting a blanket for Baby #2…& to make things more challenging (haha)…I’m knitting a cardigan for Sweetie…!! Very ambitious rite…

     Remember the blanket tat I was supposed to knit for Sweetie…? Bad news…it never got completed…!! But…the good news is tat I found a small craft shop that carries some knitting stuffs in the same building as Sweetie’s play-school…it’s a small place but the lady was really nice…she was willing to help me…didn’t mind the fact tat I was half-way thru my project (would not be buying things from her) & even offered to help me ‘convert’ my blankie to a ‘Mini Cloak’ for Sweetie (cos my darling no longer uses blanket)…

I’m quite proud to say tat after nearly 3 years (yes…pls dun laugh)…I’ve completed my Blanket turn Mini Cloak project…!!

By the way…I’m intending to knit a blanket for Baby #2…hope it’ll be completed in less than 3 years…hahaa…

10 Things You’ve Been Putting Off

Lately I’ve been putting lots of things off…procrastinating seems to be my middle name for now…well…the list is not in any order…so here goes…

Knitting: I’ve been wanting to knit a blanket for my baby girl since I was pregnant…she’s now 5 mths old…& I’m only half way thru the blanket…will I ever finish it…??

Looking For A Home Of Our Own: Husband & I have been house hunting for quite sometime…but till now there’s no outcome…either too expensive…décor not to wat we wanted…or something…so for now…we’ll stay put @ my parents place till…well…till we decide to get a place of our own…

Quitting: I’ve been toying with the tot of leaving my current job to be a stay home mum till my bb turns 1 years old…but I’ve yet to do it…oh dear…time is moving real fast…she’s now 5 mths…she’ll be 1 soon…so I better hurry…!!

Travelling: I’ll like to take a 1 week holiday…but I’m just too lazy to plan for it…

Getting New Jeans: After delivering…I can only wear my pre-pregnancy tops & not my old bottoms…& I’m so sad…but instead of getting new ones…I designated every Friday to be the “try on old jeans” day…where I get my pre-pregnancy jeans out & try…so far I fail to get in any of my jeans & yet I still “refuse” to buy new ones…maybe its time for me to get 1 or 2 pair…(oh…by the way…in case you are thinking wat bottoms I’m wearing…I’m wearing my maternity jeans…sigh…)

New Cell Group: Tis has been on both husband & my mind for the longest time…but we just never got down to doing it…really have to find out from Church any same age range Cell Group near our place…

Grade 5 Piano: Sigh…I’ve been learning piano for such a long time…but I never took the Grade 5 theory exam…better do so quick…before my teacher give up on me…

Picking Up IT Skills: I’ve always wanted to learn Photoshop…but it always seems to me like a tough thing…perhaps one day I’ll really try it…

Facial & Massage: Ooo…I’ve not been to facial & massage for more than a year…!!

Colouring My Hair: Many ppl tell me tat I should not colour my hair when breastfeeding…so I guess…I’ve to wait awhile more before I can get a new colour…hmm…from the looks of it…I dun think I’ve to wait much longer…

Wow…looking @ the list…there are lots of things tat I’ve been putting off…some with valid reasons…others is just me being lazy…well looks like its time to start on some of the items on tis list…

Hmmm…having too much free time @ home also not tat good…cos my mind will wander here & there…sigh…actually I got quite a lot of things to do…but I just can’t “get them done”…especially the knitting…!! Sigh…really have to put in effort to do it…I’ve been telling myself to hurry up & do as much knitting as I can during tis break…but till now…I’ve not done much…(terrible me)…
