The Special Day…!!!

Saturday, October 1st, 2005

The wedding by very smoothly…Thank God…!!! I was worried tat there might be some hick-ups. Although it was a whole day event, to me the time seems to fly pass. Started the day @ 7am…arrival of mark-up artist & photographer…then the “jie meis” arrived…soon they began to prepare the “torture” for the guys…hahaaa…the groom & gang arrived on time (tat’s good)…wonder how the “torture” went…so sad I missed it. Well…after the mess, we headed for his place…then the tea ceremony began…all seems okie so far…(but his relatives were late…!!!) I wonder how things are at the Church…hope all are settled. Time to go back home…& eat…starving liao. Hmmm…wonder how those brides can survive without eating…but by the time I reached home & face the food…I’ve no mood to eat…honestly…my mind seems to be in a blank state. After eating we headed to Church…ahhh…the decos are up…& it looks great…yup…I like it…the hand flower is also nicely done. Okie…all set…& there we go…my dad walked me down the aisle…wow…now I can feel the nervousness creeping up on me…as I walk towards my groom…I can’t help but think…tis is it…not turning back…although the tot of turning back & run (like the movie) did come across my mind…I told myself…hang on…& the next thing I know…we’re both standing in front of the Pastor…parents, guests & most importantly God…no turning back now…(sh*t)…everything went on as planned. I got very little time to mingle with each guest…in fact…I didn’t get to talk to some of them. Soon it was time to go off. The trip to Pan Pacific was refreshing…we chatted & laughed all the way. It was kind of exciting…a new beginning…a new journey. @ the hotel, we ate some of the food tat was packed for us…there was also a chocolate cake from the hotel…after tat we went down to the lounge for a drink…hmmm…I got to hear one of my favourite songs “Close to You”…
